I am very excited for my production of Life and Times of Michael K to finally be running at The Baxter from February. The production brings together some of South Africa’s most revered, multi-award-winning artists. It is the largest and most illustrious undertaking by The Baxter over the past decade and is the culmination of two years of planning. It marks the first time that I will be working with the Tony award-winning Basil Jones and Adrian Kohler from the hit production War Horse-fame, along with a formidable cast and creative team. The impressive South African cast includes theatre legends Sandra Prinsloo, Andrew Buckland, Faniswa Yisa, Craig Leo, Roshina Ratnam, Carlo Daniels, Marty Kintu, Billy Langa, and Nolufefe Ntshuntshe. Epic in scale, Life and Times of Michael K, is a multi-layered theatrical staging that combines puppetry, performance, film, and evocative music, bringing to life Coetzee’s Booker Prize-winning novel. Book now for the R200 Early Bird Special (only valid for 10 days). Book here http://www.baxter.co.za/MichaelK

Booking is already open for the modern classic, Manuel Puig’s extraordinary play, Kiss of the Spider Woman, directed by the multi-award-winning Sylvaine Strike. She directs a stellar cast with Mbulelo Grootboom as Valentin and Wessel Pretorius as Molina, in this journey of self-awareness, intrigue, romance, revolution, love, and betrayal. Book now for the R125 Early Bird Special (only valid for 10 days). Book here http://www.baxter.co.za/kiss-of-the-spider-woman.
