The biggest smash hit from 2Unlimited “NO LIMIT” reached the incredible figure of 100 million streams on the largest and most popular music streaming service in the world, Spotify.

Co-writers and still performing as the iconic 2 Unlimited duo and group singers Ray Slijngaard and Anita Dels are overwhelmed: “It’s extra special for us, cause when the track was released Spotify wasn’t even here yet! Now 30 years later millions of music lovers are still listening and that means the world to us!

“No Limit” is a Belgian/Dutch Eurodance song, released in January 1993 by 2 Unlimited. It was their fifth single in total and the first to be released from their second album, No Limits! (1993). The song became one of their most commercially successful singles, especially in Europe, reaching the number-one spot in 35 countries and the top 10 in several others.

Larry Flick from Billboard, the globe’s most influential music magazine, wrote: “After several weeks at the top of Britain’s pop charts, European rave duo 2 Unlimited is ready to tackle the U.S. radio market with a bright ditty that melds techno, hi-NRG, and rap elements. The hook is irresistible, and the pace is heart-racing.”

“No Limit” is one of the most popular anthems of the NBA, National Basketball Association, one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Arena audiences all over the US are whipped up every week with the million-sellers of the group.

2 Unlimlited will be the headliner of 100% RETRO – THE PARTY, performing along with Technotronic, Dr Alban, Haddaway, Rozalla, Snap, Twenty 4 Seven, and SA singer Nádine. Local and international DJs will play the best retro music. The events will take place in Cape Town (January 7) and Pretoria (January 13).
